The middle of March was spring break!
Hannah was excited to have some time off. I took a few days off while she was off so we could spend some time together. We didn't do too much and mostly stayed around home but it was still nice
Tuesday night, we went with my mom and sister and cousins to a hotel in Danbury where we went swimming and spent the night. It was fun to get away and spend some time with them.
We have cameras in the house now so I was able to make sure Mark was doing good. I love the cameras! Gives me such a peace of mind. At one point I looked and he was doing some laundry for me....aww.
I also have to include a closeup of Mark :) I love this picture:
When we got back on Wednesday, we got together with one of my past (I refuse to say "old") high school friends. Her daughter has the same birthday as Hannah so we call them "birthday buddies". It was so fun to get together with them and catch up!
Our beautiful girl:
On Thursday we went shopping for a new sectional. Mark hasn't really liked our black sofas that we got a few years ago so he wanted to go look at a new sectional and recliner. We weren't really expecting to buy anything but we did and can't wait for them to come in. This is a picture of a sectional and recliner that we had thought about but ended up getting something different. Hannah took pictures, though, as Mark wasn't able to climb the steps to see them. :)
On Friday we went for a walk in the morning, went out to eat for lunch, went to Walmart and then went swimming at a local hotel in the afternoon:
On Saturday, Hannah's brother came over to visit and was playing guitar with Hannah:
Sunday was the last day of spring break. :( I loved being able to spend some time with Hannah. I'll miss her going to school and me going back to work.
On Sunday we went to church and then had a Mommy/daughter date at Three Arrows after church. She tried to teach me how to play chess.....I don't know if I'll ever figure that out:
It was a great spring break and I'm so glad I took a few days off to spend some time with Hannah. As always, though, it went too fast. :(
