Monday: Yellow Day!
Totally yellow even down to the socks. :)

She had a game with a yellow ice cream circle so she wanted that in the picture because it was yellow
Then she turned it around and said "Oh Mommy! I got ice cream on me!". :)
Tuesday: Green Day!
Note: I DID NOT pick out her socks. :)
Wednesday: Blue Day!
Hannah was looking through the closet as she wanted to wear a dress. She told me "Well this is kind of blue. It's more blue-green but can I still wear it?" ;) I was impressed with her observation of "blue green"
They are also starting to work on "star" words. The first one is "I". Hannah was very proud that her teacher wrote "Wow" next to her I and thought it was very good. :) Also notice, Hannah wrote "Love" on the top. She loves to write out the word "love" :)
She got an "I" book so she could practice sounding out I. It has pages of different things "I" can do. At the back, she added "I sing". I LOVE that as that is so Hannah. She definitely sings. :)
Thursday: Purple Day!
Hannah was excited to tell me about the purple cow drink they had. When I asked her if it was good, she kinda shrugged and said "It was okay". :)
She was also so excited that she got to take home a book that the class made and the alligator that showed up on Green Day. The book was so cute! Such a cute idea!
Friday: Gray Day!
Being it was Friday, we decided chips and dip were appropriate for breakfast because we made it through a full week and we deserved it. :)
The night before Gray Day, I let Hannah play with makeup and do her own. Totally forgot about it until I'm driving her to school in the morning and realize she still has it on! She didn't want the "mommy spit" treatment at school (well, ever) So, she was at school with "pretty" makeup on today. And yes I need to pay more attention to my daughter in the morning---mommy fail
They also learned about S this week:
I have to share this story. Friday after school she was going to ride the bus to her Auntie April's house. She was a bit nervous as her sitter wouldn't be on the bus so she had all these questions like "Will the bus driver know where to drop me off?", "What if I miss my stop?", etc. I reassured her that the bus driver would know where she would be dropped off. I told her "You know, Hannah, I bet you'll be so busy talking with your friends, that the bus driver will have to say your name several times to let you know it was your stop and you needed to get off". Sure enough, that's exactly what happened. :) Her Auntie April was waiting for her at the bus stop and could see the bus driver saying Hannah's name several times to get her attention. Hannah said she was so busy talking with her friends she didn't realize it. :)
She also said a boy kissed her on the bus. I know, shock! When Auntie April asked her more about it, she just said "Well, I just KNEW he was my boyfriend" :)
It was a big week for Hannah outside of school too! She started gymnastics and she's happy that her mom gets to help coach along with an amazing gymnast who I used to coach (yes that ages me :)):

She also started Sparks at AWANA at church. I don't have pictures as I'm one of the leaders and was so busy keeping track of kids and stuff---one day I'll get pictures. :) But hard to believe she is out of Cubbies and is an official Spark now.
